An eye squint or Strabismus as it is medically named, is a condition when the eyes appear to be pointing in different directions
One eye may turn inwards, outwards, upwards or downwards while the other eye looks forward.
Squints are evident in children and adults, commonly they can affect 1 in 20 children.
They usually appear by the time a child is 5 years old but can appear later in life.

Common treatments include glasses, Patching regimens eye exercises and medical treatment such as Botulinum A toxin injections.
When these options are not effective or considered inappropriate for Adults, surgery may be required.
